Text Walkthrough
1. Go to the Menu and open the Learning Content tab. Next, go to the Assessments tab.
2. In the top right-hand corner of the screen select "Add New" and select "Assessment"
3. Enter the relevant information. i.e. Name, Display Name, etc.
4. Press "Save"
5. Go down to the "Questions" tab
6. On the right-hand side you will see two buttons "Imports Questions" and "+ Add Questions"
a. If you have already created questions that you want to add select "+ Add Questions"
b. If you want to import questions from Excel spreadsheet select "Import Questions"
Extra Information about the Questions tab in the Assessment Editor
At the top of the questions page you will see two drop-down menus ----->

That is Question Source and Question Response Requirements. Following is a brief explanation of what you can do with these options.
Question Source (where you will choose to select your questions from)
- Linked Questions/ Linked Competencies
- Linked Questions: If you create questions in the Question section you can link them to assessments you have already created.
- Create an assessment
- In the Questions Section, link them to the test you just made.
- Go back to your test and in the Question Source menu select Linked Questions.
- All the questions you linked for this test will show up. Just press the + button to add them!
- Linked Questions: If you create questions in the Question section you can link them to assessments you have already created.
- Linked Competencies
- Competencies (areas of understanding that you want to test. To learn more about competencies please watch our video about that section)
- Create an Assessment
- Create a competency ( With a test about the human body a good competency may be the Cardiovascular system)
- Link the competency to the test
- Make several questions and link them to the competency
- Go back to the Assessment that you created
- Under Question source select Linked Competencies
- And all the questions will pop up. Just press the + button to add them!

Question Response Requirements
- This drop-down menu specifies if answering all questions are optional or required
- All questions required
- Students must answer all questions
- All questions optional
- Students do not need to answer all questions (a good option for surveys)
- All questions optional with a minimum requirement
- As an example 2 out of 10 questions must be answered
- Custom
- Create a custom response requirement
- All questions required
