Text Walkthrough

  1. Go to Menu---> Learning Content --->Courses
    1. When you get to the courses page go to the top right-hand corner and select Add New +
  2. Fill in the information page, select DEFAULT for course type then fill in: (Name, price, language, credit for a new course and then press Save
    1. Go back to the edit tab to change any of the courses basic information
  3. Go to the Activities tab
  4. Select +Add Activities on the right-hand side of the screen
  5. Select Add Existing Activity (To find out how to make activities please view our other tutorials)
  6. Press the plus button + on the right-hand side of the screen to add any activities you want.
  7. Once you have them added go ahead and press save and you have your course!

 

You can change the order of the activities by going to the Order Column and changing the number associated with each activity. If you want to remove an activity, press the Minus button - to get rid of it.

Make sure to save at the bottom of the screen. 

 

 

Testing a Course

  1. Turn on your testing/ editing capabilities as an Admin
    1. Hover over your profile picture icon on the left-hand side of the screen.
    2. In the menu that pops up, you will see 3 checkboxes
      1. Check the ones that say Course Testing and Quick Edit links
  2. In the top right of the course editing page, you will see an orange box that says Test/ View Course
    1. Click on that and it will take you to view the course.

 

With the Course Testing and Quick edit links, you can quickly test the course and easily get back to editing from within the course you are testing as an admin.
