Creating a Credit Type

Overview

  • Create a Credit type
  • Add it to activities or Courses
  • When you add a credit to an activity it will show up in the activities Certificate if you have one attached
  • Credits that have been added will show up in the students transcript

Text Walkthrough

Create your Credit!

  1. Go to Menu---> Learning Content---> Credit types
  2. Select Add New in the top right-hand corner
  3. Enter Name and Display name
  4. Press Save

Add your credit to an activity

  1. Go to Menu---> Learning Content--->Activities
  2. Select the activity you want to add the Credit Type to
  3. Go to the Credits tab
  4. Link the credit that you want and add a Value

Add your credit to a Course

  1. Go to Menu---> Learning Content--->Activities
  2. Select the Course you want to add the Credit Type to
  3. Go to the edit tab
  4. At the bottom of the edit tab, add the credit and the value you desire

 

And you are done!
