How to Clone an Item

Overview

• You can clone anything that is in the system
• Depending on what you clone the information copied may differ
• This is perfect for making pre- and post-tests
• Great for if you want to use the same activity for another course but change it a little bit

Text Walkthrough

1. On any of your lists go to the far right side and click the drop-down arrow on the item you want to clone
2. A box will show up
3. Select Clone/Clone Start
4. Click the next arrow in the box that pops up
   1. For each item select:
      1. Create relations with existing (Copy item over)
      2. Don't create relations (Do not copy item over)
   2. Review the items that are being cloned
5. Select Complete
6. Go to the new copied item or select stay on the current page

That is how you clone any item in the system. Depending on what you clone the information that can be transferred over will vary. If you clone a user for any reason be careful of duplicate accounts!
